The Minister of Finance, Mrs. Kemi Adeosun and the Federal Ministry of Finance on Friday mourned the death of an elder statesman and former Minister, Mallam Adamu Ciroma. Ciroma was the Minister of Finance between 1999 and 2003.
In a statement in Abuja, the Minister and the Ministry described the late Ciroma as a resourceful, patriotic, sincere, and go-getter Nigerian who served the nation meritoriously.
They expressed sadness over the former Minister’s demise and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. They urged the family to remain steadfast and emulate his lifestyle.
