BPE Extends EoI for Warri Port to August 7, Seeks More Investors

The Bureau for Public Enterprise (BPE) has expected the submission date for Expression of Interest (EoI) from July 22, 2014 (today) to August 7, with the hope of getting more private investors.
The Federal Government intensified efforts to seek private investors in the concessioning programme for the Terminal “B” of Warri old Port. 
As part of the efforts, the National Council on Privatization (NCP) recently approved the extension of the closing date for the submission of Expressions of Interest (EOI) by prospective investors in the concession programme. A statement signed by the Head of Public Communications, Bureau for Public Enterprises (BPE), Chigbo Anichebe, confirmed that the submission date has been extended from July 22, 2014 to August 7, 2014.
